Two Lansing teenagers are accused of roughly 50 daytime burglaries around mid-Michigan.
Lansing's Police Chief Mark Alley announced their arrests at a new conference Thursday. The teens, ages 16 and 18, were arrested Wednesday on unrelated charges. They were arrested together at an apartment complex on Waverly Road.
Detectives say, in the last month and a half, they hit homes on Lansing north and south sides, in Delta Township and in East Lansing too.
An anonymous tip came in Monday. Lansing Police and Michigan State Police had surveillance teams on them for about two days before they were arrested.
The teens are expected to be arraigned on charges related to the daytime burglaries Friday.
