LSD Makes Tentative Deals with Unions

By  |

The Lansing School District reaches tentative deals with four bargaining groups Wednesday.

However, their teachers still don't have a contract.

Public safety officers, bus drivers, custodians, cooks--all members of three bargaining units of ASCME--as well as the administrators' union LAFA will vote on tentative agreements before they become contracts.

All of the deals require they pay a co-pay on health premiums, which is also a major issue in the teacher contracts.
