Daytime Burglars Hit Lansing's Southside

By  |

Lansing Police are investigating more than one dozen robberies on the city's southside. More than likely, it's the same team of young men who are suspected of hitting about 20 homes on the northside and Delta Township.

Lt. Bruce Ferguson, with the Lansing Police Department, says they knock on the door and if no one answers they go in. They're taking computers and televisions, big ticket things you just can't carry out of a home. Ferguson suspects they use a vehicle, maybe even park it in the driveway of the home they're robbing, to haul the stuff away and it all happens in broad daylight.

Monday, three homes were hit on Sablain Parkway. If you have any information about the burglaries, call the Lansing Police Department at 483-4600.
