For more than a month no one has seen Lansing resident Stacey Kesson as well as her approximately six-month-old daughter, Lynn. Monday, however, police say the baby was willfully surrendered to them and appeared in good health.
Police say Stacey Kesson, age 37, has a history of drug abuse and has two felony warrants out for her arrest.
The Family Independency Agency (FIA) along with police have searched for the child and mother.
Monday police say the infant's father; Trent Stull contacted authorities and willfully surrendered the child.
Police say they then transferred the child to FIA.
A Clinton County circuit court could decide guardianship of the child as early as Tuesday.
