Mid-Michigan Reacts to Middle East Capture

By  |

Shortly after dozens of Michigan National Guardsmen got on a bus and headed out, on the first leg of a journey that'll take tem overseas, the word came down. Sgt. First Class Steve Connelly says he wishes they could've been at headquarters and heard it the same time he did.

Others were out shopping when they got word. For families with loved ones in the Middle East, soldiers on their way there and men and women back home after serving, the news is definitely good. Kristie France's brother was gone for a year, she says, fighting for this day.
