Cedar Point's operator saw a slight drop in visitors last year.
Amusement park operator Cedar Fair Entertainment says attendance was down less than 1 percent at its amusement and water parks.
Combined attendance was about 19 million people.
And guests last year spent roughly the same amount as they did in 2005 once inside the gates.
Higher gas prices and a poor economy affected attendance at parks in the Midwest, including Cedar Point and Geauga Lake in Ohio.
The Sandusky, Ohio-based Cedar Fair operates about 12 amusement and water parks in several states, including Michigan's Adventure near Muskegon.
