It was the Chevy Silverado, not the Jackson High School Band equipment that was the target of thieves according to Knoxville Tennessee police.
News 10 first told you about the theft Thursday.
Crooks drove-off with the band's trailer, with the instruments and uniforms inside.
The group was heading back to Jackson after performing at the Outback Bowl New Year's Day.
Knoxville police say Silverado trucks are the most frequently stolen vehicle in their area.
The good news is everything is insured.
