Meijer Voluntarily Recalls Ground Beef
No signs of contamination, but ground beef comes from Swift Beef Company plant which has been source of E. coli.

Meijer is voluntarily recalling fresh hamburger and fresh ground beef that has been sold in Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois and Kentucky.
None of the ground beef has been linked to any illness, but Meijer ordered the recall as a precaution after it found out that the products were from a JBS Swift Beef Company plant that has been verified as a potential source of E. coli contamination.
Here's how to identify the recalled products:
FRESH HAMBURGER - UPC 20165500000 with "sell by" dates of April 26, 2009-June 19, 2009 and "freeze/use by" dates of April 27, 2009-June 20, 2009 (Michigan stores only)
FRESH GROUND BEEF - UPC 201668000 with "sell by" dates of April 26, 2009-June 19, 2009 and "freeze/use by" dates of April 27, 2009-June 20, 2009 (stores in Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Kentucky)
