The city of Warren, hard-hit by auto industry downsizing, will be the site of President Barack Obama's visit to Michigan next Tuesday.
The White House released the information Wednesday. No additional details were given.
Obama has not visited the state since he held campaign rallies in Grand Rapids and East Lansing last October. He plans to hold a town hall-style meeting to talk to Michigan families about their concerns and his policies during his first Michigan stop as president.
Obama will travel to St. Louis to make the ceremonial first pitch at Major League Baseball's All-Star Game later in the day.
