FLINT, Mich. (AP) -- Police say one person was taken into custody following a shooting that wounded five people outside a convenience store in Flint.
The shooting happened around 3 a.m. Thursday. Michigan State Police Lt. Brian Cole says the wounded were taken to the hospital, where four were in good condition and one was in serious condition.
Cole says investigators interviewed witnesses as they worked to determine what prompted the shooting. Flint police Chief James Tolbert tells The Flint Journal (http://bit.ly/1pRJcKB ) "there are a lot of nuances to this particular shooting" and detectives were working to sort out the details.
Kisha Duncan, who has worked at the store for more than a decade, says she was glad no one was killed. She wasn't working there at the time of the shooting.
