If you didn't know the Lansing Board of Water and Light had a dam break warning system, you will by this time Tuesday.
The local utility will test the system at 10am-- starting with two sirens, followed by a brief message in both Spanish and English.
Federal law requires the BWL to test the emergency system once a year in case the Moores Park Dam on the Grand River fails.
