Silver Bells

With new restaurants and new condominiums, the capital city is looking different nowadays.

Some 80,000 attendees of "Silver Bells in the City" were--the mayor hopes--exposed to the city's new look.

"I keep saying if you haven't been to downtown lately," Mayor Bernero says, "you haven't been to downtown at all. I mean it."

The nearby restaurants are seeing a change too. Troppo dining room manager Drew Bossler says it was busy from 5 pm on on this "Silver Bells" night. He says there is definately renewed interest in downtown Lansing.
