General Motors, Ford and Chrysler all report strong truck and SUV sales for November. Car sales were weak again.
For GM, domestic sales jumped 22-percent from a year ago. The performance was led by a 30-percent rise in truck sales.
Ford's November sales were up less than one percent. An increase in truck sales offset an eight percent drop in car sales.
And Chrysler tuck sales rose nearly five percent, while car sales dipped four percent. The result is an overall increase of three percent.
