The man accused of murdering his wife outside a Meridian Township credit union could face life in prison.
Judge Rosemarie Aquilina arraigned Donald Holmes on open murder and felony firearm charges in a Mason courtroom Tuesday.
Ingham County sheriff deputies arrested Holmes when they saw him standing outside the sheriff's office early Tuesday morning.
Meridian Township police say Friday afternoon Holmes shot and killed his wife in the Michigan State University Credit Union parking lot in Okemos. Law agencies had been looking for Holmes since.
He is being held without bond.
