After much controversy, only two Howell High School students participate in a silent abortion protest Tuesday.
The controversy began when school board member Wendy Day mentioned the protest on a website, which some parents said was inappropriate.
Some elementary students planned to protest as well, but that didn't happen.
As far as the two high schoolers who did protest, faculty asked them to remove the duct tape over their mouths, and they did.
