The Haslett man wanted for the murder of his wife is now in police custody.

Police say Donald Holmes turned himself in at the Ingham county Sheriffs department at 5 AM Tuesday morning. His surrender comes after an exhaustive search over the last four days by Meridian Township police.

They believe the 64 year old shot and killed his wife Catherine last Friday.

Her body was found in the parking lot of the MSU Federal Credit Union on Central Park Drive.

The Meridian Township police department is continuing to investigate this homicide.
