The Michigan State University Board of Trustees has given its ‘ok’ to administrators to begin planning for a new building, which will house a medical school expansion into Grand Rapids.
The College of Human Medicine Building will cost an estimated $60 million to $80 million dollars.
The university has already looked at possible sites for the building.
The expanded school's first students are expected in fall of 2008 and the facility could be fully operational by 2010.
