ORCHARD LAKE, Mich. (AP) -- The annual St. Mary's Polish Country Fair is being held this weekend on the campus of a Detroit-area school.
Tens of thousands of visitors are expected to make their way to St. Mary's Preparatory in Orchard Lake, where the event is to run through Monday. Organizers call it the nation's largest high school fair.
It serves as a fundraiser to provide scholarships, support student initiatives and help maintain and improve the 26 buildings on the school's 120-acre campus.
This year's fair -- the 43rd -- features authentic Polish cuisine; carnival rides; casino games and bingo; shopping and live music.
General admission is $5, and parking is free on the grounds of St. Mary's Prep.
