School districts across the state are receiving MEAP results for their high schools.
The scores show Lansing schools are making improvements. Reading, science, and social studies scores are up from last year, while math and writing scores dipped slightly.
All of the district's high schools made adequate yearly progress, but compared to the state's averages on the MEAP, Lansing is behind the curve.
School officials say Lansing faces challenges that suburb schools are not faced with during the course of a school year.
