Prostitution Ring Busted in Lansing Township

After an undercover investigation, the Michigan State Police arrested three people Thursday night, in connection with a prostitution ring they believe has been operating for years. Lisa Marie Ritter, her Husband, Terry Pruitt, and her father, Robert Ritter were all arraigned on multiple felony counts Saturday morning.

Police say they were alerted to the operation by a concerned family member of one of the prostitutes. The family was concerned about her drug addiction and prostitute lifestyle.

Police started their investigation September 25th. They say Ritter was the ring-leader, and she advertised her business in the Lansing State Journal classifieds under Exquisite Adult Fantasy. Police estimate ten prostitutes worked for Ritter. They say the business was lucrative, but aren't sure how much money it brought in.

Ritter allegedly also employed several exotic dancers. Ingham County Prosecutor Stuart Dunnings, III says charges have not been brought against any of the women who allegedly worked for Ritter. But he says cocaine and other materials were seized from her home on Catherine St. in Lansing Township, and further investigation is underway.
