More Snowmobile Deaths

Two men have died in separate snowmobile accidents in Chippewa County in the eastern Upper Peninsula.
Michigan State Police say a 40-year-old man from Macomb County's Chesterfield Township was pronounced dead Thursday evening at a hospital in Newberry after his sled crashed in Whitefish Township. The Daily News of Iron Mountain says his name wasn't immediately available.
Also Thursday, 42-year-old Rick D. Byle died after being thrown from his machine on a trail near Paradise, where he was a teacher.
The Grand Rapids Press says Byle was a 1985 graduate of Grand Rapids Christian High School. Survivors include his wife Stacey and two children. is happy to provide a forum for commenting and discussion. Please respect and abide by the house rules:
