Bob Trezise, President & CEO of Lansing Economic Area Partnership (LEAP): "I believe this may be the largest new manufacturer, adding new jobs and building a new, very large facility in our region in the last 15 years."

Norplas Industries, Inc., a manufacturing division of Magna Exteriors and Interiors, announced January 23, 2013, that they have selected Delta Township as the site for its new 350,000 sq. foot, robotic paint line and injection molding, manufacturing facility.

The company plans to invest $75 million and create 400 jobs in the Lansing area. Norplas received approval from the Michigan Strategic Fund Board, for $2 million in economic incentives. The Delta Township, Lansing site, was chosen over other sites from around the state, and out of state.

Bob Trezise, President & CEO of Lansing Economic Area Partnership (LEAP) said "LEAP and Delta Township have been pleased to work in Norplas and the MEDC in putting together the final pieces for this major manufacturing project. This region and LEAP have built a foundation and taken specific action over the past few years to make opportunities for Norplas Industries and others possible. We would like to thank Norpolas for the investment and commitment to our region and thank the MEDC and Delta Township for all of their efforts."
