Armed Robbery in Okemos

Police are looking for a man who may be responsible for two armed robberies Sunday in Okemos.

Authorities say around 9:30 p.m. Sunday, a man entered the Big John's Steak and Onion in the 3400 block of Okemos Rd. He demanded cash from employees and got away with some money as well as the safe. The suspect then fled out the back door on foot. No one was hurt.

Police are looking for a black male, 25-30 years old, 5'7" with a thick beard/goatee, wearing black pants, black shirt and a black bandana on his head.

The suspect may also be responsible for a robbery that happened at the Little Caesar’s Pizzeria nearby.
