A car lift at a Mason repair shop fell, allowing the car it was suspending to fall on a mechanic working beneath it.
It happened at the Smalley Auto Service facility on Kipp Road in Mason shortly after nine Tuesday afternoon.
Employees at the shop were able to use two car jacks to lift the vehicle from their co-worker. Police say he was talking with ambulance personnel as they took him to a hospital, however, the extent of his injuries and his condition have not be released.
The victim has not been identified.
