Republican challenger Dick DeVos is closing the voting gap between him and Democratic Governor Jennifer Granholm.
Of the voters polled, 50 percent say they will vote for Granholm, while 47 percent say they will vote for DeVos.
These numbers come from a state-wide poll conducted by EPIC-MRA.
A News Ten poll released last month showed the governor with a four point lead over DeVos and now she is leading with three points.
The poll has a four point margin of error.
When asked, "How do you rate the job being done by Governor Granholm?" 51 percent of polled voters gave her a positive rating, while 48 percent gave her a negative rating.
As for the U.S. Senate seat up for grabs, 54 percent say they will vote for Incumbent Democrat Debbie Stabenow, while 42 percent say they plan on voting for Republican Michael Bouchard.
