A geography mix up has forced a company to cover a billboard advertising the Web site for Ohio license plates.
The problem was the ad got put up about a week and a-half ago along a road in Michigan, two miles from the state line.
A spokesman for the Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles says the billboard company it hired to post the signs around the Toledo area made a mistake.
A spokesman for Lamar Advertising calls it an "oversight," but he says the billboard was located along a route used by Ohio residents going toward Michigan's Irish Hills region. So he says it was probably seen by many Ohio drivers.
