Six pilots from the 110th fighter wing in Battle Creek returned home Monday, after months in the Middle East.

The pilots left Kuwait Friday and flew their A-10 jets back to Michigan. Monday their leg was nine hours, starting in the Azores. The pilots had been stationed in Kuwait, enforcing a no-fly zone over southern Iraq.

Family and friends were on hand in Battle Creek at the Ang Airforce Base for the reunion. All pilots will get at least a week vacation.

By the end of the week 250 members of the 110th will be back in the U.S. But between 60-75 will still be stationed overseas.
