Near Miss Leads to Jackson Drug Bust

A Detroit area man is caught driving through mid-Michigan with $32,000 worth of crack cocaine.

A Jackson County Sheriff's deputy pulled the 29-year-old over in Jackson after the Dearborn man almost hit his patrol car.

The deputy arrested Charles Thornton and found 290 grams of cocaine in his vehicle along with $1200 in cash.

He's been charged with a felony possession of cocaine with intent to deliver.
