Man in Police Custody Dies of Asthma Attack

We have new details on the man who died while in Lansing Police custody.

An autopsy reveals an asthma attack caused J. Allen Holt's death.

Last Wednesday night, police were transporting the 42-year-old in a squad car when he began to have trouble breathing. He later died.

Ingham County Medical Examiner Dr. Dean Sienko says the East Lansing man had a history of asthma.

The case is still under investigation.
