An autopsy reveals an asthma attack caused J. Allen Holt's death.
Last Wednesday night, police were transporting the 42-year-old in a squad car when he began to have trouble breathing. He later died.
Ingham County Medical Examiner Dr. Dean Sienko says the East Lansing man had a history of asthma.
The case is still under investigation.
