It's one of the worst part of staying in hospitals, the food but two Minneapolis hospitals are making patients stays a little bit tastier.
It's not the traditional hospital food for Unity Hospital, they have switched from mass produced foods to made to order patient meals, that is made to order whenever you want it.
The menus include everything from a liquid diet to lemon meringue pie and the reminder is to follow doctor's orders. The goal of the program is to make the patients happy.
The new service will cost the hospital more, but they believe in the long run, food costs will go down, because there will be less waste.
