A new billboard celebrating Lansing's relationship with General Motors was unveiled on Wednesday.
State and local officials say the Car Capitol of the World Campaign is designed to remind Lansing of the importance of GM.
The world's largest automaker has been making cars in Lansing for more than 105 years. The billboard features cars such as the Cadillac CTS and the Pontiac Grand Am.
The city launched the Lansing Works/ Keep GM campaign in 1997. Lansing produces more cars than any other community in the world. It makes about 560,000 vehicles per year.
