A six mile stretch of I-94, just west of Jackson, will be under construction starting Monday, June 12th. The section of the interstate that will be repaved and milled is between Sandstone Road and Michigan Avenue.
Both East and West bound traffic will be affected. The four-lane highway will be reduced to just two single lanes for several weeks. The project also includes ramp improvements at Parma Road, Michigan Avenue, and Dearing Road.
Construction will be put on hold during race weekends at Michigan International Speedway. It's expected to be completed by the beginning of August.
