Abu Musab al-Zarqawi's death hits home in Hillsdale. It's where Eugene "Jack" Armstrong, the man believed to be one of the terror leaders victims, lived.
Armstrong and two other construction workers were kidnapped by Iraqi militants in September 2004.
Hillsdale City Manager Tim Vagle helped plan Armstrong's memorial. He heard about Zarqawi's death on the radio Thursday afternoon and is hopeful it will bring some closure to the community.
Armstrong's family could not be reached for comment.
