DETROIT (AP) -- Detroit police said a 3-year-old boy accidentally shot himself in the foot.
Police tell TV stations WDIV, WXYZ and WWJ-AM that that the shooting happened Thursday morning at a location on the city's northwest side. The stations say there's no immediate information on how the boy got the gun but say he was hospitalized.
The Associated Press left a message with police seeking details.
