ANN ARBOR, Mich. (AP) -- Authorities say three University of Michigan students were treated at a hospital and released after falling out of a moving bus.

MLive.com says the students shifted their weight as the bus rounded a corner Saturday morning, and the rear door opened. They were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment of cuts and scrapes, and all had been released by Sunday afternoon.

Police say the bus was traveling at a normal speed. The vehicle is being evaluated by university police and maintenance workers.

The bus was carrying about 60 students, which officers say is typical for football game days or weekdays.
