Another man has been arrested in connection with a car jacking in Delta Township earlier this month.
The Eaton County Sheriff's Office says 22-year-old James Rashawn Nash of Ypsilanti was arrested Tuesday by the Michigan State Police Fugitive Team.
He was arraigned on charges of carjacking, armed robbery, unlawful driving away of an automobile, fleeing & eluding and resisting & obstructing police. Nash was denied bond and remains in the custody of the Eaton County Sheriff's Office.
The Eaton County Sheriff's Office says Nash and 17-year-old Landon Morris, who was charged with carjacking, armed robbery and resisting and obstructing police last week, stole a car from the Westfield Club Apartment complex in Delta Township on July 4. Deputies quickly located Norris and the stolen vehicle. Nash escaped and was arrested Tuesday.
The preliminary examination for both suspects is set for July 19.
