For 37 years the state has ordered motorcyclists to wear a helmet, and for 30 of those years, bikers have demonstrated at the capitol to undo the law.
With the legislature poised to do that, the bikers are coming back to town on Wednesday to keep pressure on lawmakers, but their fight may be futile.
The governor indicates she likes the helmet law and would likely veto the repeal if it gets to her desk.
