Police have the driver's license, rental car agreement and a big bag of marijuana following a high-speed chase in South Lansing.
Sunday afternoon, an Ingham County deputy says he pulled over a Dodge Stratus for spending on Aurelius Rd.
The driver handed over his license and rental car agreement but then drove away.
Because of the suspect's reckless high speed driving, the deputy stopped pursuing the suspect.
Witnesses say he crashed the car into a fire hydrant and was picked up by a female in a sport utility vehicle.
The bag of marijuana was found at the crash site.
