As of 9:30 p.m. Sunday, about 47,000 Consumers Energy electric customers are without power because of the ice storms that swept throughout the state last week.
There are at least 7,000 people in Mid-Michigan without electricity.
Utility crews were out all day Sunday trying to restore power to tens of thousands of residents suffering from the weekend's ice and snowstorms.
Nearly 400 crews are working throughout Michigan. They say almost half of the customers have power back on but some may not recover until Tuesday or Wednesday evening.
Customers who want to report loss of power are encouraged to call the utility's automated reporting line at 1-800-477-5050.
