Students at Michigan Tech in Houghton have broken three snow-related Guinness world records.
The university says it received word this week that the figures from this year's winter carnival are official.
Students broke the old record by rolling a snowball with a diameter of nearly six-point-eight feet. Next, they set the record for the largest snowball fight with more than 37-hundred people. After that, all the snowball fighters dropped to the ground and made snow angels.
The old snowball fight record was set in 2003 at a ski resort in Switzerland.
The record for the most snow angels was set in 2002 in Bismarck, North Dakota.
