Lansing resident's can now call directly to the Mayor's office with community problems they're having trouble solving.
People can dial 374-TONY (8669) and be directly connected to Debbie DeLeon, one of the mayor's assistants. She will try to resolve the issue quickly or find the right people to help resolve the situation. It's part of a new plan to involve the community in government and improve the city.
The police and fire departments are also involved in the Mayor's Community Government Response Team - a group developed to improve Lansing's neighborhoods and keep them clean, safe and family friendly.
