A local consumer advocacy group rallies again for lower energy costs. This time around, the group called "ACORN" is putting low-income moms in the spotlight.
It hopes to get the attention of Consumer's Energy CEO David Joos. Last winter, "ACORN" stormed the lobby of Consumer’s Energy. The group demanded their CEO speak with them about the rising energy costs.
They also rallied again in February, but Joos still did not meet with them.
The protesters will rally again Thursday at local Consumer’s Energy Payment Centers including Lansing, demanding lower energy costs for low-income families.
