Now that soda pop is gone from schools. the Federal Government wants something done about junk food advertisements.
The government wants food companies to stop targeting kids in their advertisements.
They also want the companies to make reduced calories in popular foods.
A spokesman for the "Grocery Manufacturers Association" says the group will consider the recommendations.
According to a Government report... obesity rates have tripled for kids between 13 and 17 years old since 1980.
