Dewitt Soldier Survives Grenade Attacks

A Dewitt father is doing his best to cope after learning his son was nearly killed in the grenade attacks in Kuwait over the weekend.

Sabatini learned his son Mike was okay when Mike left a message on his answering machine.

Mike was the only soldier in his tent at Camp Pennsylvania that was not harmed when another soldier allegedly threw a grenade in the tent.

Sabatini has two sons, Mike and Jeff, fighting in the in Iraq. He says he hopes to hear from both of them again soon.
