More Delays for Meridian Fire Station

Construction bids for the proposed new central fire station in Meridian Townhip are over budget, said Township Manager Frank Walsh, which will likely push the project back several months.

Legal battles with nearby residents are part of the reason 20 months have passed since voters first approved a $3.5 million bond to fund the station's construction.

News 10's Lorne Fultonberg talks to frustrated firefighters living in a temporary station and frustrated residents of a nearby condominium complex tonight on News 10 at 11.
