An Ingham County public administrator says he wants to be the voice to represent seven-year-old Ricky Holland.
Tom Walsh says he plans to file the papers in Ingham County Probate Court to represent Ricky.
The little boy was reported missing last July, his body was found in January. Ricky's adoptive parents Tim and Lisa Holland have been charged with his murder.
Walsh handles legal matters for the deceased if no one else steps forward.
If appointed, Walsh would have the authority to manage Ricky's affairs, including community donations. He also could file a civil suit against the Hollands.
