Kyle Braman, age 23, may be in the process of fighting in his second war in three years. The Holt native is in his third year of service for the army and is a Black Hawk Helicopter gunner.
Bill Braman, Kyle’s Father remembers first hearing his son was a helicopter gunner.
“He called and (his mom) said that would look good on his resume, that is if were looking for a job in the mafia,” Bill Braman said jokingly.
Originally his mother, Dawn Braman, was shocked when he went into the dangerous but heroic job.
But she later saw her son’s enthusiasm and was excited for him.
