Rising Gas Prices

It's probably not a surprise anymore, but gas prices are continuing to increase. Last week the nationwide average was .40 cents higher than the same time last year. In Lansing prices are .10 cents more and that means people traveling for Easter weekend will probably pay around $2.70 a gallon. Still people like Ivan Cyars are willing to dish out the cash.

"I try not to let the gas prices affect me. I'm still going to travel. I mean that's family versus gas. You've just got to find a way to fit it into your budget."

Experts say the price of gas will probably go up in the next few weeks. May is the start of peak-driving season, and after that summer is just around the corner.
