Pothole Problem Could Get Worse

The deterioration of Michigan roads could worsen this fall, as federal money dries up.

The U.S. Highway Trust Fund could be insolvent by late summer, said Kirk Steudle, director of the Michigan Department of Transportation.

The Ingham County Road Commission says that could take even more out of its budget for projects that normally receive federal funding.
