Subcommittee Examines Year-Round School

The House Appropriations Subcommittee on School Aid heard testimony Tuesday on the advantages and disadvantages of a year-round school calendar.

Rep. Andy Schor (D-Lansing) testified on behalf of the bill he introduced, making it easier for at-risk schools and districts to move to what is known as a "balanced calendar."

Tonight at six, News 10's Lorne Fultonberg talks to Schor and a school where a year-round schedule has already been implemented.
